OUR STORY
Mark and Sarah were born in the same hospital just 25 days apart, but we didn’t meet until 25 years later playing volleyball in Denver. And it wasn’t until several more years that our friendship finally grew into a romance. In the summer of 2020, we would meet up in the park to do workouts, which eventually turned to dinner dates, ski trips, and camping adventures.
Very quickly, we learned one of our greatest joys is traveling (especially together!), and in 2021 we explored a lot of the US together. After a few international destination weddings in 2022, we hatched a plan to leave our jobs and spend a year traveling the world.
In September 2023, Mark carried Sarah up a mountain in Steamboat to propose at the top, reciting a poem we had written together before popping the question. Much to his surprise, Sarah turned the tables and proposed to him as well a few weeks later. We both said, “yes!” 😉
Our dream of traveling the world came true in November 2023, when we began our global adventure, exploring mountains, beaches, small towns, and big cities across six continents. Now, we want to share a piece of that travel magic with you as we celebrate this wild, wonderful love story of ours.
